代表者略歴

　１９６０年、岐阜大学農学部農芸科学科を卒業し、マルカン酢株式会社の研究室勤務、その間大阪大学理学部生物学科に研究生として内地留学、酢酸菌のチトクロームＣの研究に携わる。日本酪農協同株式会社中央研究所に移り、京都大学平野助教授の指導のもとに大豆中に含まれるビフィズス菌増殖因子の研究（農芸化学会誌に発表、１９７０年）。その後、関西ルナ株式会社（現、日本ルナ株式会社）に移り、ビフィズス菌入り「のむヨーグルト」を開発し、日本で最初にドリンクヨーグルトを発売。さらにケフィアの商品化を試みるが、店頭において酵母醗酵の制御に失敗し市場から撤退。
　１９９１年、有限会社中垣技術士事務所を設立し、技術コンサルタントとして営業しながら、自社商品としてホームメイド・ケフィアを開発して発売し、現在に至る。
